APPENDIX
In pursuance of the Above Chapter, Laws of
Florida, the State of Florida on June 7th, 1907, 240/257
deeded to the City of Lake City by sufficient deed
to convey title to the property mentioned in above
act, which deed is recorded in the Public Records
of Columbia County, in Book “Y” page 751.
On June 12th, 1907, the City of Lake City
deeded the property mentioned in above act to
gether with all the other property that at one time
belonged to the University of Florida, located at
Lake City, to the Baptist Convention, which deed
is recorded in the public records in Deed Book “Y”
page 174 of Columbia County, Florida.
ORDINANCE No. 57.
AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor, J. E.
Inman, and the Acting President, A. R. Wise,
of the City of Lake City, Florida, to receive
and receipt for Fifteen Thousand Dollars ap
propriated by an act of the Legislature of 1907,
Chapter 5659, of the Laws of the State of
Florida.
Be it enacted by the Mayor and the City Council of
the City of Lake City, Florida:
Sec. 1. That the Mayor, J. E. Inman, and
the Acting President of the City Council, A. R.
Wise, of the City of Lake City, Florida, be and
they are hereby fully authorized and empowered
to make and execute a receipt to the comptroller
of the State of Florida on behalf of Lake City,
Florida, for the- Fifteen Thousand Dollars appro
priated for said City by the act of the Legislature
of 1907, Chapter 5659, Laws of Florida, in words
and figures following, to-wit:
