             cation and was for the use of the State University
             of Florida, formerly located at Lake City; said                      239/257
             conveyance to be by a good and sufficient deed of
             all the right, title and interest of the State of
             Florida, or the State Board of Education in and to
            255 acres of land, more or less, in addition to the
             100 acres required to be conveyed or refunded to
            the City of Lake City under the provisions of
            Chapter 5384, Laws of Florida.
                 Sec. 2. That the sum of Fifteen Thousand
             Dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated
            to the City of Lake City, Florida, for educational
            purposes, and the Comptroller is authorized and
            directed to draw his warrant upon the State Treas­
            urer for said sum in favor of the Mayor and Presi­
            dent of the City Council of the said City of Lake
            City, Florida, to be paid out of any funds in the
            state treasury not otherwise appropriated;
             Provided, Upon delivery of warrant aforesaid the
            comptroller shall get a receipt in full from the City
            of Lake City for all claims arising under the pro­
            visions of Chapter 5384, Laws of Florida; Provided,
            The State shall never grant any aid to said Insti­
            tution.

                 Sec. 3. That should any of the lands required
            to be deeded to the City of Lake City, under
            Section 1 of this act, be sold the proceeds thereof
            shall be used for educational purposes.

                 Sec. 4. That all laws and parts of laws in
            conflict with this act be and the same are hereby
            repealed.
                 Sec. 5. This act shall take effect upon its
            approval by the Governor.
