Received of A. C. Croom, Comptroller of the
State of Florida, a warrant on the treasurer of the 241/257
State of Florida, for the sum of Fifteen Thousand
Dollars, appropriated by the act of 1907, Chapter
5659, of the Laws of the State of Florida, to be
used for educational purposes, and acting for and
on behalf of the City of Lake City, Florida: we
receive and receipt the sum of Fifteen Thousand
Dollars in full settlement of all claims or demands
of whatsoever nature on the part of the City of
Lake City, Florida, against the State of Florida,
arising under the provisions of the act of 1905,
Chapter 5384, of the Laws of Florida.
Sec. 2. All ordinances or parts thereof in con
flict of the provisions of this ordinance are hereby
repealed.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect im
mediately upon its approval by the Mayor.
Approved July 22nd, 1907.
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CITY
COUNCIL.
Resolved, That the following rules and regula
tions be and they are hereby adopted for the gov
ernment of the Citv Council:

Rule 1. Four members shall constitute a quo
rum, but a less number may adjourn from time to
time until a quorum is present.
Rule 2. The order of business shall be as
follows:
1. Approving the Clerk’s minutes of the pre
ceding meeting.
