A small boy watches,
Haunches on heels, as busy ants
Bear home their booty.
Puppy
Snarling mock fury
Sharp white teeth bared, he snaps at
His elusive tail.
Quarrel
Jay bird screams curses;
Angry squirrel jerks his tail
And barks defiance.
