DIVINITY
2 2/3 cups Sugar
2/3 cup light Com Syrup
¥2 cup Water
2 Egg Whites
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2/3 cup Pecans, chopped
Cook Sugar, Syrup and Water on medium heat to 260. Beat Egg Whites until stiff.
Pour hot syrup very slowly into Egg Whites while beating on high speed. Beat until
mixture begins to stiffen and add Vanilla. Continue beating until mixture holds it’s shape
and becomes slightly dull in color. Fold in Pecans. Pour into a buttered 9 X 13 inch
pan Let cool and then cut into small squares. You may also put a whole Pecan on top
of each piece.

PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE
4 cups Sugar
1 cup evaporated Milk
¥2 cup Margarine (1 stick)
2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 cups Peanut Butter either smooth or with peanuts
Combine Sugar and Milk and bring to a boil. Add Butter and Vanilla. Continue cooking
on medium heat until mixture reaches soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add Peanut
Butter. Beat until completely blended. Pour into buttered 9 X 13 inch pan. You may
also add a Pecan on top of each piece while Fudge is hot. Cool and cut into squares.
