Brian’s French Silk Pie Brian Leonardson
3 Squares Chocolate - melted
1 V2 cups sugar - powdered
16 lb. butter - softened
1 Vi tsp vanilla - real thing
3 large eggs
Pie shell - cooked and cooled
In a mixer bowl place softened butter and while mixing on medium speed, add sugar
slowly. Continue to mix until, completely combined. Add vanilla and chocolate while
continuing to beat. Increase mixer speed to full. Add eggs, one at a time and beat for
about 2 minutes after each egg. After the last egg, beat on medium speed about 5
minutes. Pour mixture into pie shell, cover with Saran wrap and chill until firm (over
night is best). Before serving, cover with about %” of whipped cream and, if deshed,
chocolate curls.
Luscious Layered Lemon Delight Nancy Beard
Crust:
1 Cup Flour
16 Cup very fine ground pecans (if not ground fine, crust will not hold together)
% Cup Melted Butter
Bake 350-15 minutes. Cool completely.
Second Layer:
Beat until smooth and creamy - 8 ounces softened Cream Cheese and 1 Cup Powdered
Sugar
Fold in 1 Cup Cool Whip (From 8 ounce container)
Spread over cooled crust.
Third Layer:
Whisk 2 packages Lemon Pudding and 3 Cups Milk.
Add 1 T. Lemon Juice, stir until thick.
Spread over second layer.
Spoon remaining Cool Whip over pudding.
Sprinkle with 3 T. chopped Pecans.
Best if made the day before serving.
