                        Peach Cobbler                                         Nancv Beard

                   1 Stick Butter melted in a 9 X 13” pan


                   Make batter of:
                   2 Cups Flour
                   2 Cups Sugar
                   6 tsps. Baking Powder
                   2 Cups Milk
                   Pour over melted butter.


                   2 Large cans of Sliced Peaches, drained and reserving juice from one can.
                   Arrange peaches over batter. Spoon juice from one can over top.
                   Bake 350 - checking at 35 minutes, continue baking until center is done.



                       Mother’s Date Pudding                                  Nancy Beard


                   Boil together 10 minutes for syrup:

                  2 Cups Brown Sugar            3 Cups Boiling Water
                   1 T. Butter                  1 tsp. Vanilla

                  Cream together:


                  % Cup Granulated Sugar 1 T. softened Butter

                  Add and mix well: % Cup Milk, 1 Yi Cups Flour, 3 tsps. Baking Powder, 1 Cup
                  Chopped Pitted Dates, Vi Cup Chopped Pecans.

                  Pour syrup in 9X13” pan and drop dough by spoonful on syrup.
                  Bake at 375 until syrup has baked up around dough- 30 minutes.
                  Test dough like testing cake. Serve warm with Whipped Cream.





                  Peanut Butter Fudge                                              Nancy Beard

                  2 Sticks margarine or Butter Melted
                  Add:
                  1 Pound Powdered Sugar
                  % Cup Peanut Butter
                  % tsp. Vanilla


                  Mix together and pour into buttered pan.
                  Cool before cutting.
