who worked at the college in the 1960s. The family moved from Lake City but Bert Lacey
frequently returns here as a top official in the Florida Sports Hall of Fame Foundation. Bert is also
public relations director of Florida Leisure Acquisition Corporation which includes Silver Springs,
Wild Waters, Weeki Wachi, and Buccaneer Bay. Bert has a great love for Lake City and especially
remembers the thrill of coaching basketball at LCCC with the legendary Joe Fields.
