               as may be necessary shall be used to assist in the
               construction of. a High School building in said                    156/257
               City; provided that an amount equal to that furn­
               ished by said City shall be appropriated by the
               Board of Public Instruction of Columbia County,
               Florida, to be used in the construction of such
               building.
                   (E)  The moneys arising from the sale of
               Twenty-three Thousand Dollars of said bonds or
               so much thereof as may be necessary shall be used
               for the payment of the present outstanding indebt­
               edness of the City; Provided however, That none
               of said bonds shall be issued until after the issuance
               thereof under the provisions of this order shall
               have been approved by a majority of the votes
               cast by the electors qualified to vote at a special
               election which shall be held for that purpose on the
               first day of August, A. D. 1905, in accordance with
               this ordinance.

                   Sec. 2. The Mayor and City Council shall
               levy and collect annually such special tax on the
               taxable property within the corporate limits of
               said City as may be necessary to pay the interest
               on said bonds and to provide a sinking fund for
               the payment of said bonds.
                   Sec. 3. Said bond shall be printed or engraved
               with interest coupons attached, payable at the
               end of periods of six months from the date of the
               bonds. Said bonds shall be signed by the Mayor,
               countersigned by the President of the City Council
               and attested by the City Clerk and shall bear the
               corporate seal of the City of Lake City, and the
               coupons shall bear an engraved facsimile of the
               signature of the City Treasurer. When said bonds
