ORDINANCE NO. 38.
Bonds. 154/257
An ordinance providing for the issuance of bonds
and the creation of an executive board under
the provisions of an act of the Legislature of
the State of Florida entitled “An act authoriz­
ing the City of Lake City, a Municipal Cor­
poration organized and existing in Columbia
County, Florida, to issue bonds for the purchase
of public utilities and other municipal purposes
and to provide for the expenditure of moneys
for Municipal purposes and the management of
public utilities.”

Be it ordained by the .}/!ayor and City Council of
Lake City:
Sec. 1. The Mayor and City Council of the
City of Lake City in their corporate capacity un­
der authority of an act of the Legislature of the
State of Florida entitled “An act authorizing the
City of Lake City, a municipal Corporation organ­
ized and existing in Columbia County, Florida, to
issue bonds for the purchase of public utilities and
other municipal purposes and to provide for the
expenditures of money for municipal purposes and
the management of public utilities,’’ approved
May, 27, 1905, hereby provides by ordinance for
the issuance, from time to time as hereinafter pro­
vided, of bonds of said City, to be known as
“Public utility and improvement bonds of the
City of Lake City,” to the amount of One Hundred
and Thirty-five Thousand Dollars. The principal
and interest of said bonds shall be payable in Gold
Coin of the United States of the present standard of
weight and fineness and for the payment thereof,
