               issuing bonds for $7,500.00 for street improve­
               ments was submitted for approval or disapproval.                   152/257
               The amount of this issue and all other indebted­
               ness of said Town of Lake City do not aggregate
               five per cent, of the assessed value of the real and
               personal property within the corporate limits of
               said Town of Lake City.
                   It is hereby certified that the issue of bonds
               of which this is one is made in strict conformity
               with the laws of the State of Florida and the ordin­
               ances of the Town of Lake City duly authorizing
               the same. And all proceedings and things essen­
               tial to the validity of the bonds have duly hap­
               pened and been performed, and all requirements
               of law and ordinances have been duly complied
               with by the proper officials in the issuance of the
               said bonds.
                   In witness whereof the Town of Lake City has
               issued this bond, bearing date the first day of
               October, A. D. 1899, and has caused it to be signed
               by the Mayor of said town and by the City Clerk
               thereof under the seal of the corporation.
