City of Lake City, Public Utility and Improve
ment Bond. Interest five per cent per annum pay
able semi-annually.
Secured by pledge of the entire taxable property
of the City of Lake City, Florida, and the Public
Utilities acquired and owned by said City.
The City of Lake City, in the State of Florida,
will pay on the first day of September, 1935, to
bearer the sum of One Thousand Dollars in Gold
Coin of the United States of the present standard
of weight and fineness, at the office of the City
Treasurer in the City of Lake City, Florida, or at
a bank in the City of Lake City, Florida, desig
nated by the Board of Public Works as Bond Trus
tees of said City, with interest thereon at the rate
of five per cent per annum, payable semi-annually
until paid in like Gold Coin on the first days of
September and March of each year at the office of
the City Treasurer in the City of Lake City, or at
a bank designated by the Board of Public Works as
Bond Trustees of said City of Lake City, Florida,
on presentation and surrender of the annexed
interest coupons as they severally become due and
payable.
This bond is one of a series of one hundred and
thirty-five bonds aggregating One Hundred and
Thirty-five Thousand Dollars of like date known
as “Public Utility and Improvement Bonds of the
City of Lake City,” issued under and in accordance
with the provisions of an act of the legislature of
the State of Florida entitled “An act authorizing
