Sec. 1. The owner or owners of every lot,
piece or parcel of land which fronts on or abuts 175/257
upon Marion street between the Georgia Southern
and Florida Railroad and the Southeast corner of
lot 324 in the Southern division of Lake City,
Florida, and Railroad street from the East end of
the Atlantic Coast Line depot to Taylor street and
Duval street from Western end running Eastward
to the corporation line is hereby ordered and re
quired to grade and pave said streets in front of
their said property within thirty days after the
approval and publication of this ordinance, in the
manner, to the width and of the material men
tioned and described in the specifications therefor
on file in the office of the board of public works,
along the whole length of said lot, piece or parcel
of land as the same fronts or abuts on Marion
street between the Georgia Southern and Florida
Railroad and the Southeast corner of lot 324 in the
Southern division of Lake City, Florida, and Rail
road street from the East end of the Atlantic Coast
Line depot to Taylor street and Duval from West
ern end running Eastward to corporate line; said
pavement shall conform to the grade and lines as
established by the board of public works who shall
furnish, stake and mark, free of charge, the grade
and location and furnish specifications therefor
when requested to do so by persons desiring to
grade and pave said streets in front of their said
property.
Sec. 2. The material entering into the con
struction of said pavement shall be as follows:
Upon Marion street from the Georgia Southern
and Florida Railroad to Duval street, Vitrified
Brick. Marion street from Duval street to the
