The Tigers moved the ball quickly as n

scampered to the 42-yard line. Then
Kelly Lowey cranked up and let one
go to Duke Silvey putting the ball on h
the 23. Mike Dace running around
the right end spotted Ricky Rauler-
son in the endzone and airmailed e
the first score to the shanks, the
point after was good, the score was
7-0.

Lake City looked good for awhile
when they recovered a Quincy
fumble on the kickoff. After moving u
the ball to the 6-yard/ine Tommy
Young lost the grip and Quincy re-
covered the ball. But the Tigers got g
it back and Kelly Lowery put the ball
in the air to Ricky Raulerson moving
it closer. Mike Dace moved to the
one-foot-line and Kelly Lowery put it
over with a keeper, the point after
was no good the score still looked
promising at 13-0.
But Quincy would not stand by
while the Tigers ran away with the
game. They put the ball on our 24-
yard line then they put the ball right
over Mike Burgess's head for the
score, the kick split the uprights
pushing it up to 13-7.
The tigers moved the ball every-
where except into the endzone, so
Paul Johnson got a chance to kick a
field goal but slipped and didn't
make it.
Determined to be ahea:d in the
game Quincy moved it into the en-
dzone, they lead 14-13.
With the clock moving down fast, a
Quincy player hurt, an official called
time out with 7 seconds to go in the
game. The Tigers got lined up with
Dean Williams down to hold, the ball
was stopped, moving in seeming
slow motion Paul Johnson's fleld
goal attempt was blocked. The Ti-
gers lost their second game 13-14.
