Through superior coaching, the Ti-
ger coaching staff inspired lead-
ership, sportsmanship, and charac-
ter among the fighting Tigers.
Practice, practice, and more prac-
tice became a personal command
of the staff as the struggle for a win-
ning se~son provided the nucleus of
the Tiger team.

The diligent coaching of Bobby Sim-
mons and his staff combined the ef-
forts of the offensive and defensive
teams into a winning machine
which could not be displayed by any
of its opponents.
