The 2001-2202 year was a winning one for the CHS JROTC. The JROTC Male Color Guard ( Shawn Dunn, Edwin Hernandez-Gunn, Scott
Wethington, and Jack Cherna) won First Place at the Raines Competition and Third Place at the Tampa Drill Meet. The Female Color Guard
(Amanda Lee, Stacy McPhearson, Jessica Ferris, and Delilah Grant) won Second Place at the Ra1nes Drill Meet. The Rifle Team placed 12th at the
VFW State Competition. At Crescent City High the overall high shooter was Victoria Brewer and the Rifle team placed Second. The Rifle Team
placed First at the Air Rifle Compet11ion. Again, Victona Brewer was the overall high shooter. Then at the North Florida Reg1onal League they
placed Second overall out of the fourteen partic1patmg schools. The Male Exhibition Team won Third place at Raines and the Female Exhibition
won First place on a dual. The Male Armed Platoon won Third place at Raines and the Female Armed Squad won Second place. Overall, the
JROTC won Third place at the Rains dnll Meet.
