Charter of the City oj Lake City
Sec. 3. The City Clerk of the City of Lake
City shall be paid by the owner or agent of said 103/257
vehicle or conveyance as above described a fee
of twenty-five cents for recording any such
vehicle or conveyance as above described, as re
quired in section one of this ordinance.
Sec. 4. All conveyances or vehicles as above
described shall be equipped with a good horn,
gong or bell; and shall show between the hours of
sunset and sunrise two lights, showing a white
light at a distance of three hundred feet ahead;
and show a red light affixed to the rear of said
vehicle or conveyance as above described, such
rear light to be unobstructed from behind by any
portion of the vehicle.
Sec. 5. No such Automobile or other vehicle
or conveyance as above described shall be run upon
the streets, avenues or other public hghiways of
the City of Lake City by any person under the
age of eighteen years.
Sec. 6. It shall be unlawful for any person
to run or cause to be run any such vehicle or con
veyance as above described on any of the streets,
avenues or other highways within the City limits
of the City of Lake City at a rate of speed greater
than twelve miles per hour, between the hour of
sunrise and the hour of sunset; or at a rate of speed
greated than ten miles per hour between the hour
of sunset and the hour of sunrise; Provided, That
notwithstanding the above provisions, it shall be
unlawful for any person to run any such vehicle or
conveyance as above described in, over or upon
any of the streets, avenues or other public highways
within the City limits of the City of Lake City,
