draft animal remain stationary so long as may be
reasonable, to allow such horse or animal to pass;
and if traveling in the same direction, use such 105/257
reasonable precautions in passing then or there
after such horse or animal as to prevent further
frightening the same; provided, in case such horse
or animal appear badly frightened, the person
operating such vehicle, or upon request so to do,
such person so operating such vehicle shall cause
the motor of the same to cease running so long as
may be reasonably necessary to prevent further
frightening the horse or animal to prevent accident
and insure the safety of others.
Sec. 9. In case of accident to any person or
property on the street or other highways of the
City of Lake City due to the operation thereon of
any such motor vehicle or conveyance as above
described, the person operating such vehicle shall
stop, and upon the request of the person injured,
or from any person present, give such person his
name and address; and if not the owner of such
vehicle, then in such event shall give the name and
address of such owner.
Sec. 10. All Automobiles or other conveyances
as above described for hire shall be subject to a
license tax as prescribed by ordinance; and to
regulations now in force or that may hereafter
be provided for in the regulation of the hacks, cabs
and other vehicles so soliciting business and patron
age on the streets of the City.
Sec. 11. It shall be the duty of the operator
or driver of any such conveyance as above de
scribed, or of any person so driving any hack, cab,
omnibus or other vehicle of any nature whatsoever;
