or any person riding a horse or other animal; or a
vehicle, in or upon the streets of the City of Lake
City in passing any other person operating or 106/257
driving any such Automobile or other conveyance
or vehicle as above described; or driving any hack,
cab or omnibus or other vehicle of any nature what
soever; or any person riding any animal or bicycle,
to go on the right hand side of the street in so
passing such person.
Sec. 12. All persons owning or operating such
vehicle aforesaid upon the streets, avenues or
highways of Lake City, shall provide himself with
a copy of this ordinance.
Sec. 13. That any person violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by a
fine not exceeding One Hundred Dollars; or by
imprisonment not exceeding sixty days, or by both
such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of
the Court.
ORDINANCE No. 9.
Barbed Wire Fences.
Section 1. That barbed wire fences, or fences
constructed of barbed wire, are hereby declared
to be dangerous to persons and property, and the
erection or maintenance thereof within the City
limits of the City of Lake City, Florida, be hereby
made unlawful and forbidden.
Sec. 2. That any person who shall hereafter
erect, and any person who shall hereafter maintain
any fence made or constructed in whole or in
part of barbed wire, for a period of longer than ten
days after notice given by the marshal to the owner
