                                      APPENDIX
             westerly fiftv-two and one-half feet along the south
             side of Davis street, then southerly to the line of                   227/257
             the F. R. & N. Co. track at a point one hundred
             and ten feet west of Texas street, thence easterly
             about fifty-two and one half feet to the point of
             beginning, to be used as a public street by this
             corporation.
                  This corporation agreeing to protect said frac­
             tional part of said lot No. 23 from encroachment
             by adjoining owners during such period.
                  It is stipulated that the right of way between
             the tracks of the S. F. & W. Ry. and Railroad street
             shall be thirty-three feet wide.
                  Said crossing being at and including the point
             at which the F. R. & N. Co. is now building a
             crossing.

                               Council Chamber, July 28, 1897.
                  On motion of Aiderman Hensley the following
             resolution was adopted:

                  Whereas, As an adjustment of the Texas street
             Crossing matter, the City Council on the 22nd day
             of November, A. D. 1886, as shown by the minutes
             of a regular meeting, on pages 350 and 351 minute
             book, adopted a resolution whereby the Savannah,
             Florida and Western Railway Company were to be
             permitted to occupy and use that portion of the
             southern extension of Texas street south of the
             line of what is now the Florida Central & Penin­
             sular Railroad for such length of time as said
             Savannah, Florida and Western Railway Company
             should keep in thorough repair a suitable plank
             walk crossing for vehicles at a point therein design­
             ated. And should also furnish a certain portion of
             lot or block No. 23 in the northern extension of the
