                  Beginning at a point on the north side of the
             Florida Central & Peninsular Railway Company’s
             railroad fifty-seven and a half (57 1-2) feet west                   229/257
             from Texas street, thence running northerly paral­
             lel with Texas street to Davis street, a distance of
             nineteen and one-half (19 1-2) feet; thence south­
             erly to the Florida Central & Peninsular Railroad,
             two hundred and ten (210) feet; thence east nine­
             teen and a half feet to the point of beginning; and
             also all that portion of the southern extension of
             Texas street south of the line of what is now the
             Florida Central and Peninsular Railroad, and all
             that portion of said Texas street touching or ad­
             joining said block No. 23 on the east side thereof
             from said F. C. & P. Co.’s railroad to Davis street.



                      GRANTING PRIVILEGES FOR
                                  UNION DEPOT

                                       Preamble.

                 Whereas, the erection, establishment and main­
             tenance of a union passenger station in the City of
             Lake City, Florida, located on the line of the
             Florida Central & Peninsular Railroad Company
             and Georgia Southern & Florida Railway Com­
             pany, between Palmetto street and Taylor street
             on the east and Catawba street and Calhoun street
             on the west, would be to the convenience of the
             citizens of said city and the traveling public in ar­
             riving and departing from said City on the passen­
             ger trains of the said companies and in the use of
             depot facilities therein, and whereas the Florida
             Central & Peninsular Railroad Company and the
             Georgia Southern & Florida Railway Company
             jointly are contemplating the erection and main­
