Sec. 35. All persons running or managing a
candy store or shop where candy is made and sold 65/257
within said city shall pay a license tax of five dollars
Sec. 36. All persons running or operating a
soda fountain for the purpose of preparing cold
drinks for sale or any person who prepares and
sells cold drinks within the corporate limits of said
city shall pay a license tax of five dollars.
Sec. 37. All persons running or managing a
bicycle shop for the purpose of renting or repairing
bicycles shall pay a license tax of five dollars.
Sec. 38. All persons running or managing a
fresh meat or fish market where fresh meats or
fish are kept for sale within said city shall pay a
license tax of five dollars for each place of business.
Sec. 39. All persons doing an undertaking
business or any persons or person who keep coffins
or caskets for sale shall pay a license tax of ten
dollars.
Sec. 40. All telephone companies shall pay a
license tax of ten dollars.
Sec. 41. Plumbers and gas and electric light
fitters shall each pay a license tax of five dollars
and no fractional licenses shall be issued therefor;
Provided, That persons employed by any licensed
plumbers or gas or electric light fitters shall not
be required to pay a license tax.
Sec. 42. All building contractors employing
two or more hands shall pay a license tax of ten
dollars, and no fractional license shall be issued
therefor.
