sale at public auction all such forfeited weapons
and shall sell the same to the highest bidder for 95/257
cash, and turn the proceeds of the sale of each
such weapon over with separate reports thereof to
the Treasurer who shall receipt him for same, and
cover the amount under such head into the
general fund. But if the person so arrested shall
be acquitted such weapon shall be restored to him
or her, and report thereof likewise made by the
officer aforesaid.
Sec. 5. It shall be unlawful for any person
to spit upon a public sidewalk, on the floors or
walls of public buildings, depots, stores, churches,
school houses and all business houses visited by
the public generally for the transaction of business.
Sec. 6. It shall be the duty of all persons con
ducting public business houses and having charge
of public buildings to provide cuspidors, which
shall be cleaned at least once each day.
Sec. 7. Any person found guilty of violating
Sections 5 and 6 of this ordinance shall be punish
ed by a fine of not less than $1.00 nor more than
$25.00 or be confined in the City Jail not exceeding
sixty days.
ORDINANCE No. 5-A
An Ordinance Relating to Barber Shops.
Section 1. Barber shops shall be equipped at
all times with hot and cold water, and modern
appliances and equipments, and no barber shall
shave any person who has signs of a comunicable
disease, embrazure or eruption of the skin, nor shave
any one knowingly of venereal disease with brush,
