Sec. 3. Any person having charge of any
public hall or place where pool or billiard tables 94/257
are kept, who permits or suffers any minor to play
thereat, or to visit and loiter inside such place shall
be punished by a fine of not less than Five nor
more than Fifty Dollars for each offense.
Sec. 4. That herafter when any person within
the limits of the City of Lake City, Florida, shall
be arrested by the Marshal or any Policeman of
said City upon the charge of having concealed
on or about his or her person any Pistol or other
unlawful weapon, or upon suspicion of same, or
for any other offence and found with such weapon
the officer making such arrest shall take possession
of such Pistol, weapon or arms found upon the
person arrested and shall retain same until after
the trial of such person whom he shall cause to be
presented for trial in the Mayor’s Court, and if
such person be convicted he or she shall forfeit
such Pistol, weapon or arms to the City and same
shall forthwith by the officer making the arrest
be deposited with the City Treasurer together
with the date upon which, and the name and
description of the person from whom taken, with
make, calibre and number of weapon, and report
of conviction. The Treasurer shall keep all such
arms with reports of such officers as to each and
shall report same to the Council at the first meet
ing in each month, when the Marshal and other
officers shall make like report in writing to the
Council of all such arms taken by them, and from
whom taken during the preceding month, and
disposition of same. 1 hereafter periodically at
such times and places as the Council may order
and direct the Marshal shall advertise and offer for
