possessing, keeping or harboring a bitch, fail or
neglect to keep or prevent such bitch from being 110/257
upon the public streets of Lake City during the
period above indicated shall be subject to a fine
upon conviction thereof of not less than five
dollars or imprisonment not exceeding thirty
days for each and every offense.
Sec. 9. No person shall in any way interfere
with, prevent or hinder any officer or person
herein named in the performance of any duty
required by this ordinance and no person not being
the owner or possessor of such dog shall remove or
take off or cause to be removed or taken off the
collar or tag upon any dog within said City or
while beyond the City limits.
Sec. 10. That any person violating this
ordinance or failing or neglecting or refusing to
comply with any of the provisions of this ordina-
ance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
five dollars or imprisonment not exceeding thirty
days for each and every offense.
Sec. 11. It shall be deemed a public nuisance
that for any dog that is sick with or infected with
mange or any infectious or contagious disease to
run at large upon the streets of Lake City, Florida,
and any dog in such condition found running at
large upon said streets shall be disposed of as
provided in section four of this ordinance.
ORDINANCE No. 11.
Keep Clean Vacant Lots.
Section 1. That the owners of vacant lots in
the City shall keep the same clean and free from all
rank growth of grass or weeds, accumulation of
