repair, enclose or enlarge any or all of them shall 117/257
first make application to and get permission from
the City Council.
Sec. 3. It shall be unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation to move any building, struc
ture or shed constructed of any material other than
that designated in Section 2, from any place out
side the fire limits into the fire limits or from
one place within the fire limits to another place
within the fire limits, or from one part of a lot to
another part of a lot within the fire limits.
Sec. 4. The City Council is hereby au
thorized to permit, by a vote of two-thirds of its
members present, the repair of any building with
in the fire limits not constructed of the mater
ial designated in Section 2, upon written applica
tion specifying the repairs and alterations intended
to be made.
Sec. 5. The Mayor, or City Council, is here
by authorized, when any violation of this ordinance
shall come to his notice, to cause to be torn
down or moved away, any building, structure or
shed of any kind built or constructed, repaired or
enlarged or moved in violation of the provisions
of this ordinance, and may call upon the Marshal
and the police department for necessary assistance.
Sec. 6. Any person or persons acting either
for themselves or as agents for some other person,
who shall violate any of the provisions of this or
dinance, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed
five hundred ($500) dollars or by imprisonment
not to exceed sixty (60) days.
