in any way any of the telegraph, telephone or
electric light wires, poles, insulators, lamps, car 130/257
bons, globes, or other fixtures erected or maintained
as a part of any telegraph, telephone, or electric
lighting system within the City of Lake City.
Sec. 3. Any person violating any of the pro
visions of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine
not exceeding five hundred dollars or imprison
ment not exceeding sixty days.
ORDINANCE NO. 23.
Speed of Trains
Sec. 1. It shall be unlawful for any railroad
company to run or operate its engines or trains
within the corporate limits of Lake City, with or
at a greater speed than as follows, to-wit: Eight
miles an hour, within one-fourth of a mile of its
passenger station, and fifteen miles an hour within
one-half mile of its passenger station.
Sec. 2. It shall be unlawful for any engineer or
conductor to operate or run any engine or train
within the corporate limits of Lake City at a greater
rate of speed than eight miles an hour within one-
fourth of a mile of its passenger station and fifteen
miles per hour within one-half of a mile of its pas
senger station.
Sec. 3. Any corporation or person violating
the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished
by a fine not exceeding twenty-five dollars or im
prisonment not exceeding ten days.
