suspect to be dangerous to the health of the oc
cupants or those living in the vicinity, by reason
of its being in a decayed or otherwise unsanitary 127/257
or unhealthful condition and upon finding the same
in such dangerous condition, it shall be their duty
to report the facts to the Mayor, and the Mayor
shall immediately cause notice to be served on
the owner or agent of the owner and the occupants
of such building, requiring them to show cause
before him within a reasonable length of time, not
less than twenty-four hours, why such building
should not be removed or placed in a sanitary
condition. If the Mayor shall be satisfied that
such building should be removed or placed in a
sanitary condition, he shall cause notice to be
served on the owner or agent of the owner and the
occupants, requiring them to remove or place such
building in a sanitary condition, and in case such
owner or agent of the owner or occupant shall not
comply with such notice, they shall be fined not
exceeding five hundred dollars or be imprisoned
not exceeding sixty days.
ORDINANCE No. 19.
Bicycles.
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person
to ride any bicycle or tricycle or roll a hoop upon
any of the sidewalks of Marion Street south of
Georgia Southern & Florida Railroad or on Rail
road Street.
Sec. 2. It shall be unlawful for any person
to ride a bicycle upon any street, sidewalk or
bicycle track in the city between the hours of
sunset and sunrise, without being provided with
both bell and light upon the bicycle.
