approved or condemned as the case may be and
make monthly reports at the first meeting of each 186/257
and every month of the City Council covering all
plumbing done or inspected within the City. All
plumbing work and premises and sewer connection
shall be generally inspected not less than every
twelve months and as much oftener as the City
Council shall deem necessary to the health and
sanitary conditions of the City; and all such work
of plumbing shall be performed and maintained in
strict accordance with the provisions of this and
other ordinances and the rules and regulations of
the City Council relative thereto; and a list of con
demned premises and fixtures shall be kept at the
Council chamber for open inspection at all times.
Hotel and boarding houses inspection shall be
charged and collected for on the basis of premises
having three-story structures thereon; likewise
stables and laundries and manufactories. He shall
also be inspector of sewers and shall likewise re
port on conditions of same.
Sec. 5. Two or more buildings owned by the
same person or persons within the space of one
hundred five feet frontage may be connected with
the public sewer by one pipe, the size thereof to be
prescribed and designated by the inspector, sub
ject to the approval of the Council but in no case
less than four inches in diameter.
Sec. 6. That there shall be charged, collected
and paid over to the City Treasurer inspection fees
as follows: For each and every building or prem
ises inspected where new or reconstructed plumbing
work exists or has been installed under the provi-
visions of this ordinance, an inspection fee of three
dollars, such fee to cover the expenses of inspecting
