ORDINANCE No. 46.
Sidewalks. 203 203/257
AN ORDINANCE providing for the laying and
constructing sidewalks on certain streets of
the City, and to provide for the payment there
for and the levying of special assessments on
the property fronting on said streets and abut
ting upon said sidewalks, and for the enforce
ment of the collection of such assessments and
expense of litigation for that purpose.
Sec. 1. That the board of public works shall,
from time to time, as they find feasible, contract
for the laying and construction of sidewalks of the
width of five feet, except as stated hereafter, on
certain streets in the City as follows, to-wit:
Camp street, from Marion street to Church street,
south side; Dade street, from Marion street to
Alachua street, south side; Dade street, from
Marion street to Hernando street, south side;
Monroe street, from Hernando street to Alachua
street, south side; Saint Johns street, from Marion
street to northeast corner of lot 273, south side;
Saint Johns street, from Marion street west to
Fourth street, south side; Hernando street, east
from Railroad street to Dade street; Nassau street
from Marion street to Fourth street, south side;
Nassau street, from Marion street to Hernando
street, south side; Duval street, from Marion
east to City limits both sides; Duval street,
trom Marion street west to A. C. L. Railway, on
north side and to Fourth street on south side;
Orange street, from Marion street to middle of lot
number one in western division, south side; Orange
street from Marion street east across Olustee Park
