              shall be of widths as hereinbefore stated and the
              material used therein shall be of cement concrete.                  205/257
                  Sec. 2. That the estimated total cost of such
              sidewalks and the estimated amount of front foot­
              age special assessments abutting property is as
              follows: A total of 17,766 square yards at $1.00
              per square yard, makes a total of $17,766.00; the
              front footage special assessment two thirds of the
              total cost, $11,777.32. That the estimated total
              area of sidewalks in Olustee Park is 688 square
              yards at $1.00 per square yard, making the total
              cost thereof $688.00.

                  Sec. 3. That one third of the total cost of the
              said sidewalks shall be borne by the City out of the
              funds now in hand and to be raised hereafter, and
              two thirds the assessed total cost shall be assessed
              against the property fronting on the streets and
              abutting the said sidewalks; such special assess­
              ments and cost of construction to be paid or se­
              cured, in the discretion of the board of public
              works, in cash in whole or in part, or with special
              assessment of City certificates, drawing interest
              at seven per cent per annum payable in install­
              ments of four equal payments of six, twelve,
              eighteen and twenty-four months, from the date
              of the assessment; provided that any owner of
              property fronting upon such streets, and abutting
              upon such sidewalks against which any such spe­
              cial assessment is made, shall have the right to
              pay any such assessment against his property with­
              in thirty days after the publication of a resolution
              of the City Council, fixing any such special assess­
              ment per front foot, without the payment of
              interest.
