ORDINANCE No. 47.
Interest on Street Liens 207 207/257
AN ORDINANCE fixing the rate of interest on
deferred payments of assessments for street
improvement liens due the City for improve­
ments made under the authority of ordinance
46, passed and approved on the 19th day of
July, 1910.

Sec. 1. That in all of the payments of assess­
ments now entered up in the street improvement
lien book, for street improvements made under
authority of ordinance 46, ordinances of the City
of Lake City, Florida, where property owners shall
elect to pay the said assessment in installments,
the rate of interest on all deferred payments shall
be ten per cent per annum.

ORDINANCE No. 48.

Collection of Liens
Sec. 1. That it shall be the duty of the City
Clerk to collect all moneys due the City for street
improvement liens, until the collection of such
moneys shall be entrusted to the City Attorney
by a resolution of the Council.

Sec. 2. That the compensation of the City
Clerk shall be 1 per cent of all such moneys col­
lected by him.
Sec. 3. That the City Clerk shall give bond
in some surety company in the sum of $2,000.00
for the faithful performance of his duties prescribed
by this ordinance to be conditioned for the faith­
ful performance of his duties pertaining to the col­
