Charter and Revised Ordinances of Lake City Florida (1912) Gillen & Hodges
Charter of the City of Lake City
Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Lake City, Florida: 211 211/257
Sec. 1. That the street now open from Marion
street westward between lots 324 and 325 in the
southern division of Lake City, Florida, extending
westward from Marion street in said City to
Alachua street in the said City be and the same is
hereby declared a street westward from Alachua
street to and through block 313 and block 314 into
Hamburg Lake. And that the same be and is
hereby declared to be a street thirty-three feet
wide and it shall be the duty of the City marshal
to proceed at once to open the same.
Sec. 2. Said street hereby declared open and
as a street in section one of this ordinance be and
the same is hereby designated and named “Ham
burg Street.”
Sec. 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict with any of the provisions of this ordin
ance be and the same are hereby repealed.
Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect im
mediately upon its passage and approval by the
Mayor.

Defining Marion Street.
AN ORDINANCE establishing and defining Mar
ion street in the City of Lake City, Florida.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and the City Council of
the City of Lake City, Florida:
Sec. 1. That Marion street of the City of
Lake City shall extend from the divide between
the north half and the south half of the north
