ORDINANCE No. 55.
AN ORDINANCE levying property taxes of the
City of Lake City, Florida, for the year 1910.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Lake City, Florida:
Sec. 1. That the City of Lake City hereby
levies a tax of nineteen mills upon each dollar of
valuation of property within its corporate limits,
subject to taxation on the first day of January,
A. D. 1910; such taxes to be assessed and collected
in the manner now provided by law.
Sec. 2. That twelve mills of the taxes levied
shall be for the payment of bond fund and interest
tax; five mills shall be for City tax proper and two
mills shall be for water and lights.
Sec. 3. That the provisions of this act shall
take effect immediately upon its passage and ap
proval by the Mayor.
Passed by the City Council this 25th day of
October, 1910.
