by suit at law or in equity or the said amount may
bcTTecovered against said owner or owners before 215/257
any court of competent jurisdiction.
Sec. 9. The Board of Public Works shall
enter up in their street improvement lien book all
bills due the city from owners of property for the
opening, grading, draining and paving of said
street and the city tax collector shall receipt for
all such bills.
Such bill if not paid within sixty days after
entry in the street improvement lien book shall be
collected with interest at the rate of eight per cent
per annum form the date of entry in such book.
If the owner of any real estate abutting on said
street tenders one third of any bill due by him
within sixty days after entry of said bill in said
book, said owner shall have the right to pay the
remainder of said bill in two equal annual install
ments with interest at the rate of ten per cent per
annum upon deferred payments, but upon failure
to pay any installment when due the total unpaid
amounts of said bill with interest shall become due.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Lake City, Florida.
Sec. 1. That the survey of the N. W. j of
